i think the free version is named x1 or something.... ANYway what im asking is, is there a way for me to add my own subdomains using this version.... and if so how? my domain name is www.rs-fans-hq.co.nr
i also want to know if anyone is running hMailServer.... and if so can someone help me set it up (if possible that is as im using the domain www.rs-fans-hq.co.nr) _________________ Where have i been? You cannot setup real virtual hosts with X1. You need X2. Although this can b e simulated "basically" with the VHC script which is available from http://vhc.trustabyss.com and the video tutorial for using it on my site. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

You dont need subdomains in abyss for hmailserver since there is no HTTP to use. You need to set up subdomains in the DNS panel of your domain but not for abyss. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

ok thats good :D so heres the settings iv setup for the hmail server:
SMTP:
hostname: www.rs-fans-hq.co.nr
relayer: dont know what this is so i didnt do anything in it.....
TCP port: 25
POP3:
TCP port: 110
IAMP:
TCP port: 143
i have setup my TCP ports to allow outbound ports 25,110,and 143 and i have allowed inbound ports 110 and 143
So is this correct? i also want to know how i would access the server it dosent have a mail client? would i use something like outlook? _________________ Where have i been?
