I know absolutely nothing about how a forum works or how to use a script for one with abyss.
any help with this would be helpful.
Maybe even some scripting help or something.

Well, one of the most popular free forum scripts is phpBB. You're looking at it here on Aprelium.
There is a tutorial for installing it at http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1072
There are other free forum scripts. You can see demos of them at http://opensourcecms.com
Once you find one you like, click on their link and download it. Make sure you read the installation
docs that come with it. |
