I have sent this "desperate" email to Aprelium support 3 times - no reply: Can anyone help ?
==================
To: Abyss Support
I am running Abyss server X1 v2.6 on Win 98. I downloaded the "Adding PHP 5 Support on Windows (Experimental)" package (php5.exe) on Friday 30 December. I have followed exactly the installation and configuration steps for both PHP and Abyss. However, Abyss continues to ignore the PHP code I insert in HTML pages, e.g. <?php phpinfo(); ?>. I have been trying to get this going for about a week. Please suggest possible solutions. (I've already sent 2 previous support emails).
Attached is the abyss.conf file, as requested.

Try making a file in notepad with that php command in it. Then save the file as test.php and make sure it does in fact have a php extension. Then open up your browser and load the page. |

Does the php come out unparsed?
If so check your extensions in inturpretters.
Also, I wouldn't expect a responce on new years eve to be honest. _________________

John,
Your emails have been received. But in observance of the holiday season, we are providing limited customer support and only processing priority emails and easy to answer questions (those which are already in the FAQ).
Please expect a reply to your email support request during this week.
Thanks. _________________ Support Team
