300 days.. wow! is that actually the pc uptime or the webserver uptime.. longest my windows was up for was just over 3 weeks and the webserver was like over a week before i had to restart it to add cgi/perl stuff.

Unless Apache brought down your system, I don't really think you can say it was Apache's fault that your system was reset after four days. _________________

Its a well known fact that Apache uses approximatley 500% MORE system resources than Abyss. _________________ My online Portfolio

when i ran apache in processors the ammount it was using was 20,000k and 18,000k the longer it was up the higher the processors would be.. abyss at the present moment for me is using 656k and 352k which its always using.. it never goes over 1,000k :-) _________________ http://www.jibba-jabba.net | http://www.mosthauntedforum.com |

As for Apache, let me check....
Two instances currently running, one using 7,444 K and the other using 21,816 K. Then we have their little monitor, using 746 K, so the grand total comes to 30,006 K. Yep, that's bloated all right. |

344 KB are used by the actual HTTP server process. The process with 528 KB manages the Windows interface (the little window, the tray icon, and other related GUI features) as well as the crash protection. _________________ Support Team
