I have a LEGIT copy of Microsoft student and teacher 2003 (office) on the box it says for instalation on up to 3 home pcs for noncommercial use. I have got a new laptop, and low and behold i cant activate it :@, i have contacted microsoft and they said " You have exceded the maximum number of actiations" i have activated it once :@
This makes it easy to see why people go to the other kind of software :S
Has anyone else had this problem? _________________ My online Portfolio |

It also makes people more likely to use fake/copied/hacked software. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

when activation fails it shoudl give you a phoen numebr to call. Call that number and ask your question. If they tell you that you can onyl activate it once, but the box really does say 3 times, hang up, call back and tell them that you have reinstalled your computer and need to reactivate. |

The computer limitation of 3 is the legal amount of computers you can install it on at any one given time not the amount of times you can activate it lol. You should be able to at least activate a good 200 times before the server rejects you. Never ever post your serials onlne.. |

Not posting your serials is obvious, but it doesnt matter. Someone will have a key gen program that will have it anyway...
You should be able to activate it an unlimited number of times really... But Im not sure how their system works.
