Have any of you upgraded to the new release of Firefox? I just did, and it seems as if pages are rendered faster. The rendering engine was changed... now the images load last on the page, instead of in a random order (some content here, some there...maybe an image over there...). You can also order tabs in the tab browser :D
Supposedly it has problems with Java applets, but I haven't had any problems. Your experiences?
[EDIT] Found a problem with the loading of phpBB forums. Screenshot:
[/EDIT]
Found another error... my screenshot won't load ;) |

Yeah, I upgraded last night after someone got me an express download of it.
It's not bad, and thank god the memory leak is gone.
And, yeah, it breaks this skin. Looks like the author column will need width specified. _________________

Yes... are you having any luck seeing my screenshot? It's specified in the code, but not showing up (the page source is what I mean by code) |

That new Firefox messes up my website display. The bottom swirl is now spaced
apart and makes it look like Garbage. I give it two thumbs down for that mistake.
The tables also have problems in Firefox 1.5 , look at your display name. |

I see what you mean.
Also, I find that 1.5 is slower at rendering pages :-( _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Agreed. Also, any clue as to why the image in my first post isn't showing? |

Ive just upgraded to 1.5 and i couldn't see your image even when i was using 1.0.7
my only gripe with 1.5 is that the font-size used in the menus and toolbars are a little large
btw, my website still displays correctly _________________ Anthony R

I think p3 must have a problem with his MIME type, as Opera doesn't display the image either, however if you select the option Open Image it displays fine.
Also, Opera is not able to determine the Image type or dimensions. However, Opera is able to get these details if you view the image directly (ie: with http://p3net.net/forum_files/aprelium/firefox_error.png in the address bar). _________________ Olly |
