Probably not but it looks a little less boring with those effects on it.
I should ask if you needed to add all of those effects to your sig and your answer would be the same.

In The Inquisitor's defence; his point is, why not write Arctic in Arial on a plain black background? Extras are what make an image, too many can be bad, however a few in moderation like on the background above are perfectly fine.
Any people who would want abyss as their background image are sad. Sorry TrustPUNK.

Probably because if you read my first post you would see it says:
