gadgetboy,
Since Abyss Web Server log file is in a standard format, you can use any log
analyzer.
There is wide choice of free analyzers such as Analog ( http://www.analog.cx/ ) or AwStats. You can find others by searching for "free log analyzer" on http://www.google.com . We suggest also reading a tutorial contributed by one the users of Abyss Web Server at http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=422 to learn how to have nice statistics about your web site by using the free log analyzer AWStats. _________________ Support Team

A great, fast and free web log analyzer is: Funnel Web Analyzer
http://www.quest.com/funnel_web_analyzer/index.asp
It's Freeware! Just sign up for a Quest user account to download it.
You can also download a copy of Funnel Profiler which will give you a graphical look at your site's structure, how it's used, etc... _________________ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Hmm... I think I'll rewrite TheLinker's tutorial since it's for the old version of AWS. Maybe put some screenshots in it for showing where the users have to go and edit the things in the Abyss console.
I'll post a link later when I'm finish with the tutorial. _________________ The insane dane who loves AWS :D

Does anyone know of a realtime log analysation tool so that i dont have to overload my server by going through a 1,5 gb large logfile every our ?
I know that AWStats is real-time logfile analyzer, but do you know of any other? |

gadgetboy,
You can use BBClone from http://www.bbclone.de but it needs PHP and adds processing overhead for every page. _________________ Support Team

Thank you for your guide to awstats Goatie.
Everthing looks ok and i will se all the statistik pages but no information.
You say it should be a "update now" link on the page but there is no link for this.
Any suggestion ?
My log file is a year old and i read data from it daily so there is information in the log file |
