|

Hi everyone,
After a lot of sorting out with my girlfriend we've decided to give it another go! After our little split up I had to format my hard disk, so my website is gone for good.....two years of work, GONE :-( But hey, what can you do...lol
So,
I've decided to create a new website and my question is:
I want some ideas off YOU about what sort of site to create! I havn't got a clue what to do but I know it has got to have a useful purpose and benefit people!
Maybe something to do with Abyss etc, I would appreciate comments and suggestions from Aprelium too.
My website will be totally based on your ideas and the best idea will be created.
Thank you for you input and your patience! _________________ Please SEARCH the forums BEFORE asking questions! |

richardyork,
Welcome back to the forum.
Thank you for your support for Abyss Web Server and its users community.
It seems that many people need tutorials for various basic stuff (installing popular scripts, configuring some features in the server, etc...). This can be a good start.
Another idea is to write reviews about scripts you find on the Web. There is a plenty out there but most people know only about a few (PhpBB, PhpNuke and so on.) Finding some new gems may be very interesting both for you and for others. _________________ Support Team

Thanks to all of your suggestions!
I have took note of all these suggestions!
Keep 'em coming!
I am particulally intreigued by TRUSTpunk's suggestion. Drop me a line on MSN when I'm online sometime and we will discuss it further.
This should be a fun project for me and hopefully people will benefit from the end product!!
Thanks Again!
Regards,

This is my idea so far!
http://www.richardyork.ipupdater.com
It is very rough, the menu works but the hyperlinks are all dead.
I just want some feedback on how the general site theme, menu system etc are?
After all this is'nt for me, its for most of YOU!! Ideas/suggestions are still welcome!
Thank You! _________________ Please SEARCH the forums BEFORE asking questions! |

I don't know if it's my ISP that's the problem (often is!!), but I can't connect to your server :( _________________ Olly |

My ipUpdater Client didn't start automatically! So I just started it manually and seems to work fine now!
Let me know what you think of the current site design!!
