If you can't be bothered to use the search button, I don't see why anyone should be bothered to do it for you. There are at least 5 good free mailservers which people have recommended here in the past, try searching for them. You're not a new member, you should know better than to keep asking questions which could be solved with one press of the search button... |

Most have been posted and its easier to just search Google.com or SF.net but personally i like HmailServer (.com) and GuildFTPd Server (guildftpd.com) _________________ -NoName

Check your IP http://www.whatismyip.com
then open command prompt. Start -> Run cmd
type tracert yourdomain.com do the records match?
It seems to be working assuming you have the email server on the same computer as the web server....
If you cant send email your SMTP server seems to be messed up.
Found the problem your SMTP server (assuming you have one) itsnt enabled or listening on port 25. _________________

Honestly i wouldnt run a firewall but thats up to the user most people say you should have one running i say no because your hosting servers on your computer and the firewall will just give you a headache in the long run. Your POP3 server seems to working fine its your SMTP server that doesn't seem to work. In the hmail config does it say that SMTP server is running? _________________

There's no point switching the incoming port on an SMTP server - other servers on the internet will not be able to send mail to it - it is not as simple as just adding a :port to your site in http. |

I use Cerberus FTP Server for the FTP Server, and ArGoSoft Mail Server for the mail server and had no problems with either.. |
