Ok here it is. I've tried X1 (Abyss) but I'm onto the newest beta now, it seems to know what its doing more.

I have basically every port imagineable, including the one i'm trying to use for abyss, open to my internal ip, and no go, at all...

Here's what I've tried, both on router (udp port forwarding to my internal IP), and abyss configuration.

Ports = 80, 81, 24, 8002, you name it. Please post fast cuz i'm getin mad on reply.

Internal IP = 192.168.0.101
External IP = 68.85.35.178
Port = 8002

Please help me. Thanks.

If you are sure that you forwarded the port correctly , did you change Abyss's ?

Well, if you've forwarded only UDP to your internal IP, it's not going to work. HTTP/Abyss is a TCP based protocol. You need to change it so it's forwarding TCP traffic on the port you've chosen.

How are you checking whether it is working? If you're using your own PC to check your external IP, this may cause problems as some routers cannot handle loopback traffic - ie requests from local IPs to access the public IP of the router. Have you asked a friend to check it for you?

What router are you using?

My external IP is correct, I run a 24/7 counter-strike server on port 27106. Even have people in it right now. So that IP does work. 68.85.35.178:27016 is the server. I have tried both TCP and UDP port forwarding. If your going to keep testing I'm going to switch the port of abyss and the router to port 81. And yes I have it modified on both abyss and the router.

So now, I'm re-testing .

IP 68.85.38.178 (port 81)
IIP 192.168.0.101
Abyss 3.0 Beta (or w/e the latest is)
DLink DI-614+ 4 port router and wireless router.

And before on my other computer (doesnt work on that either anymore) it did work, i ran abyss for a year straight.

Do you have any Firewalls that could be blocking Abyss because its still not
working , I tried the address at 2:06 PM EST , Hope you get it working.

No firewalls. I just dont really understand why this wont work at all. I think it may be a router problem. Maybe need a new router?

68.85.35.178 on port 81 .

Not working still. :(
