Hi everyone,
Just wondering if somebody can recommend a good ISP in the UK? It needs to be fast, have good customer sevices, preferably with a static IP as standard or maybe for a small fee and around £20-25 per month. I don't know wether there is such a service as I have described in the UK for the amount I want to pay etc, but it's worth a try asking...lol My contract ends in Feburary 05 with BT Yahoo and I aint sticking with them, they are CRAP!!
Thank You! _________________ Please SEARCH the forums BEFORE asking questions! |

I'd assume since you already have DSL you'd want another DSL provider, not to have cable installed. Have a look at Metronet - www.metronet.co.uk. I've been with them since September and had no problems at all. Prompt replies to all emails, sensible AUP and the added bonus of an ISP side firewall - you can block traffic to unused ports before it even hits your router, one more layer of protection...
Approx £22/month for a 512/256 connection, £26/month for 1024/256. I think it'd be worth spending the extra £4 myself... Migration fee for moving from one DSL provider to another is around £20 one off charge. |
