Hey, im new too all of this. I read the manual and tried to understand but I couldnt. I checked the FAQ and some of the links were broken :( please help. What i need is just the whole thing. Well i mean, i know how to change the index page and everything, but i dont even know what my site's name is... please help |

This section is for posting tutorials, not requesting help.
Your site's name is your IP address if you haven't set up a dynamic DNS service. If you have a router or firewall you will need to allow access to port 80. If both the above statements are double dutch, you have some background reading to do before it would be safe for you to run a webserver.

check this out, http://www.aprelium.com/ip then type the ip (which is your ip address) into your address bar. This should then bring up your web site. If you would like a free domain name I suggest downloading and registering at http://www.ipUpdater.com. This will give people a domain name to access your website instead of typing your ip address all the time!
To access your site locally you could also use http://127.0.0.1 or http://localhost, click on these last two links to view your site locally.
