I have lost my password, but the information at

doesn't help. I'm still asked for the password and if I leave it empty I'm denied access. |

Welcome to the forums, joape382.
When it asks you for a password, you're supposed to put in a NEW password.(not leave it blank)
FYI - Next time, instead of starting a new thread, continue with your previous one...

Assuming that he'd already done that, since he referenced the FAQ link in his post,
I was talking about inserting a new password in the prompt when he restarts Abyss. |

I recently forgot my password also, and as stated your to go into your abyss conf.file and delete the "login:?" and "password:?" making sure the server isn't running. Note: the password is encrypted with letters inside the file, Then restart the server and when accessing the console again it will ask in red letters above to enter a admin username and password followed by another prompt asking the samething: login and password. Once you add it there your our taken back right where you started to sign in once again and put the password in again, of which afterwards it still doesn't give you access into the console ( the one with the key).
So after configuring a few times, "how do you finally get the console to open completely up" so you can implement what you need????
