I get this error and Abyss wont start, any ideas....?

Something edited your abyss.conf contact Aprelium and see if he can fix it.

TY,
I reinstaled Abyss over it's self ensuring that the abyss.conf was deleted first in setting up the server again I have had 2 problem when I Password protect a directory, it gives me this message when trying to vie it instead of a User name and Password promt. "Redirection limit for URL exceeded. Unable to load requested page. This may be caused by cookies that are blocked".
I also can't log in to phpadmin but this may also be a problem with the password protecting thing....

It is a password problem for some reason it's not allowing access and not promting for user name & password. when I try to password protect....

What web browser are you using, you may using a web browser that blocks cookies.

Firefox is the one that gives me that error IE just won't load it or give a promt....

ScriptAlias is not an option that is recognized by Abyss. It is an Apache option. Have you edited the abyss.conf file by hand or have you used a tool that may have updated it?
Anyway, stop Abyss, open abyss.conf file in NotePad and remove all the lines that begin with ScriptAlias. Save the file and restart Abyss. |
