Do you guys [hers] know of any program that will alow PHP-nuke to connect to my comcast email address so activation emails are sent? _________________ he who has no signature! |

I dont think you can, but i could be wrong.....check with comcast and see if they give you a login for a POP3 client. _________________

even just a program that i can run that connects to my account then lets PHP-Nuke send emails through it?

Like i said check with comcast and see if they give you login details for your POP3 account. _________________

goto phpnuke settings and look for something like SMTP settings type in the stuff they gave you. _________________

php-nuke does not have settings for that, PHP needs to communticate with a web server installed on the server. _________________ he who has no signature! |

Set up your mail settings in php.ini - PHP Nuke uses the mail() function in PHP to send mail, this uses the settings from php.ini
This would have taken 2 seconds on the PHPNuke website and 2 on the PHP website to solve, but you obviously don't like reading. |

I saw on their site that you can mod php-nuke to work with SMTP auth, i just didnt know if they included that with their latest version...... _________________
