|
|
I have my webpage ready and am trying to get it all put together on my Abyss Web Server. Can I use this address when I am doing things on Ebay? Is the hotlinking going to work so people can see pictures I put up? I guess I'm wondering if this Abyss Web Server is something for your local network or does it cover the whole internet? Any help would be appreciated. |

Yes , In fact I used my web server for my mom's Ebay webpage to show
her doll pictures , this will make a good backup URL for your images. |

Hey Trustpunk. could you help me by letting me know kind of what you do to get the images up. I'm kind of a newbie with the Abyss Web Server. I would really appreciate it. |

just put your pictures in your htdocs in the installed program folder for Abyss Web Server and link to the images using your IP address or your domain name if you have one like http://IPordomain/image_name.jpg ok. You may need to first configure your router if you haven't yet , connect to my MSN if you have to at msn@trustabyss.com |

Hey Trustpunk, one more thing. I won't have any problems with bandwidth or anything will? I mean, I won't be charged anything from my ISP for using my own personal server will I? Just making sure everything will be okay. |

I don't really know about that , you will have to first call them up and see if
they cap your internet , if they do then you shouldn't be charged. Later! |
