phpBB trouble

I have a phpBB forum on my webserver and it works perfectly when viewed from the server itself at http://localhost/php/forum but when I go to another computer on my network and enter the servers IP and root I start getting trouble with the forum.

Whenever I try to login to the forum it says that a page cannot be found but it still logs me in perfectlyand then I can still post and get into the admin panel.

I have tried installing another copy of phpBB but it does the same thing.

I just wondered if I could do anything to stop this happening as it is really annoying

Thanks for that but I did search and I did read that topic but it didnt help the situation atall.

I just wondered if there was any other problems with phpBB that would cause this

Thanks for your replys. I have used vBulletin in the past but to be honest I prefer phpBB as I know how it works and can mod it easily for what I want it to do.

I have rerun that script but I still have not sorted out the problem. I will try reinstalling the forum and see if that helps.

vBulletin is the satan's work...they make you pay for it, inivision is a good alternative...i found a list of all BB's one day ill try and find it again.

I reinstalled phpBB and it worked now without even running the script.

I found a few other forums from HERE

I am gonna try a couple and see what they are like :)

MaxxBasher, inside the settings of the forum, is it set to your ip address in phpbb settings, or is set to a url?
