I have a few problems.
I installed phpBB2 on my server, along with everything else needed to run the program. Everything was installed properly, and I can connect to the forum via my website. However I get the following error.
1) When someone new wants to register to the site they put in the information and after clicking submit it says the e-mail address is wrong or in use.
2) If I then click LOGIN and then login with the username and password it goes to a screen which says page cannot be displayed. but then if i hit the BACK button and then REFRESH in the browser phpBB2 shows that iam now logged in and i can go about posting messages.
why is it that iam getting these errors? please goto the site and try signing up and see what i mean thanks..

Be sure that your email settings are correct in the phpBB settings and maybe also in the php.ini file in your windows system folder. I remember I had to do a similar thing.
and I get an Action Cancelled error page when I try to login. Fix one and it might fix the other.

i fixed the 404 error page when loging in but i cant seem to fix then

I dont know where you mean change the e-mail settings? and to what? i dont have a mail server running
