Hello, I am wondering if someone could help me. I have Pegasus Mail and Advanced SMTP Server http://www.softstack.com/advsmtp.html . I have an account at www.gawab.com and there SMTP address is smtp.gawab.com (It requires authentication, if that matters). I would like to add a form on my website that has these pieces of information, Name, Email Adress, and Comments. However I have no idea how or where to even start with configuring scripts. I would like it to be in PHP, or prefferably CGI. I have both Pegasus and Advanced SMTP configured to my incoming pop server for Gawab. I also have it configured to Gawabs SMTP server. I would GREATLY, GREATLY appreciate it if someone would write me a script preffably in CGI/Perl form that would have Name, email address, and comments as the form fields. And then confingure it to mail it to me. Also I have Advanced SMTP installed in just my regular program files on my computer, do I need to move it somewhere On Abyss's files? Thank you so much in advanced |

Ok scratch that. I can write the script and everything, but when it asks for the send mail path (For CGI/Perl Scripts) what would I put there? Keep in mind my SMTP server requires authentication if that matters. Is still have both stand alone mail servers. If someone could please tell me the send mail path, I owuld greatly appreciate it. Ty in advance again. _________________

if you host your own website, try localhost. Some providers ask for auth and have some kind of sendmail or jmail installed wich can be connected as localhost. It works for me and my isp is asking for auth to.
