I have abyss, and i got a subdomain from no-ip.com
I installed abyss and all, and it said it was running and workin properly. I have a Linksies Router, and i opened port 80, but it still won't work for anyone else but me. How do i fix this?
PS: i read the Tutorial about this in the Tutorial section and it didn't tell me anything new. |

If you follow http://www.aprelium.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3806 and it doesn't work, your ISP blocks port 80. Change the port in Abyss to something different, and then try it.

| does it matter what port we change it to? or should we just pick a random number? and if it does matter, how do i find a good port to use? |

It doesn't really matter. A common alternative web server port is 8080, but some ISPs are starting to block that also. You can just use 81, and be safe.
