Does anyone have the installer (exe) for mysql? I have downloaded it 7 times and each time it is missing a few files.
The one that I have is missing a couple of drivers which makes it not even start. Just after the install, when I click of the mysql\bin\winmysqladmin.exe. I see this error:
"Application failed..... missing LIBMYSAL.dld |

Ok , you may need to download an older version , you also need to
contact the makers and tell them to include that file in the newest
MySQL , check your Debug folder in C:\mysql for that dll file.
Note: Put LIBMYSQL.dll in C:\mysql\bin

That Driver is not important , you don't
really need it installed , Later ! |

Actually, I already did that (moved that dll file). I was mainly asking for an older install because the install that I am using is not working.... and it gave the .dll error so I didn't know if it was related. Heck, I moved every single file from a different computer into the /mysql/ folder and still it will not work.
I just cant get the light to "green" to turn on. This is my 5th computer to install it on, all others were problem free (INCLUDING the .dll issue). So, I have to start somewhere... and I thought the best place to start was with a working .exe of MySQL.
So, again, I ask my original question "Does anyone have it"? |
