This seems like a simple question, but I can't find the answer. I'm using Abyss largely to serve a large group of files. Most of these are stored on my D: drive. However, Some of them are on my G: drive as well. I don't want them all on one drive.
How can I get Abyss to serve up files on both drives...or at least make a route from one drive to the other that users can use to access files on the G: drive?
I'm using Windows 2000.
Like I said, this seems like it should be easy, but I'm stumped. And again, I'm not looking to host multiple domains or servers, I just want one server to be able to serve files on two drives.
Thanks! |

Can you not just set up a different alias for any other drive/location you wish to use and make accessible from the homepage? If you do not want to type in different adresses to go to the different directories, just make some links on the index. |

Yes, use Aliases to map virtual paths to true paths. For virtual paths, you can type "/dir1" for the virtual path and "G:\dir1" for the real path. Then, you can type "/dir2" for the virtual path and "D:\dir2" for the real path. _________________ Bienvenidos! |

Thank you! I knew there was a simple way to do this, but I just didn't see it! |
