I don't normally use Internet Explorer (IE), but was testing my site in it, and noticed that my favicon wasn't being displayed, where as in Opera it is.
Has anyone else noticed that IE doesn't show favicons, or is their some simple setting I've missed?

No, you're right. IE does have a problem displaying favicons. Mine doesn't work in IE either, but it works in Mozilla. I noticed that sometimes dragging that little IE favicon off the address bar and letting go a couple times works. Also, try adding the page to your Favorites and see what happens.

Well it showed in favourites and in the address bar after I dragged it off once but not on the icon in the start bar (tool bar) area
I hate Ms c***

IE won't automatically get the favicon when you browse a site. It will do so only when you bookmark it (CTRL+D.)
