Ok I got MySQL running and I also installed PHP just incase. I followed the help file in the Abyss Web Server directory to setup php file reading like cgi file reading. I got the CGI scripts to work but when I try to run phpbb2 it wont work. Either it wont load and give me a Page Cannot be displayed error or it will open the script like it would in notepad on internet explorer, or it will allow me to download the script.
Im trying to get phpbb2 running on my server.

wiccaan,
You must use your browser to see the URL of the form http://yoursite/path-to-phpbb2 in order to get PhpBB script running from the server. Double clicking on it from Explorer will only display the file without invoking the server.

I know that. Like say I just installed it and wanted to run the script install.php at
http://mysite/install/install.php
I would use that address to get to it and it will still do the same thing as above. I think its something that has to be configured threw the server thats not working. |

Make sure PHP is configured EXACTLY as instructed on this page:
