What FTP server have you set up ? Also, if you're running Abyss on the same system as Dreamweaver, you don't need an FTP, you can just save the pages into htdocs... |

I use DW mx 2004...
If you have direct access to your web server, you'll need to setup a Site within DW. You'll enter local information as well as remote information.
First, create a Network Place to the web server and root folder.
then in DW...go to ManageSites add a new site.
Define the Local and Remote sites with the proper paths. For the Remote site...make sure you point it to your Network place or type in the path such as \\mywebserver\webroot.
If you set it up that way, you can work locally on your files and when you're done, you can have DW push it up to the web server.
NO FTP NEEDED (unless you don't have your own web server).
If you're hosting your web site on the same machine you're developing on...then just change the remote details to the local folder where abyss holds your web pages.
I hope that helps. _________________ ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
