i am using a router and umm where would you find the exact ip address of the computer you are on where would you find it? i am currently on windows xp professional |

http://www.aprelium.com/ip/ will give you the internet accessible IP of your router.
To get your LAN IP in Windows XP, go to the start button, run box and type 'cmd'
In the console window that opens type :
ipconfig /all | find "IP Address"
Assuming you're trying to set up port forwarding, access your routers online configuration and make a port forwarding rule to forward traffic from whatever high numbered port on your router e.g 50000 to the port Abyss runs on on your machine (the one you just found the LAN IP for) |
