i am using guildftp server and smartftp as my client...it was workin fine and today it just stopped working...it stops because of connection timeout. i tried re-installing guildftp and it still didn't work. i tried re-installing smartftp and it still didn't work......any ideas? |

using a router? : check if the ports that you opened for the server are still open
using a firewall? : if not you should be using one!! if you are, check if the server has permission to act as server on the net. |

it's all configured properly cause i just used it...but the next day it didn't work....guess i'll go to their site! |

the fact that it worked the day before doesn't mean that it's configured correctly.
Some routers have the strange urge to change settings for no apparant reason, by themselves... |
