I have seen reference to this "MySQL" several times.
What is the most common types of use for this application?
Do I NEED to use it? |

Mysql is ment to hold data/info for something like php on the web(others can use it too though). Something like thease forums would require mysql to hold the data for the topics, posts, users, ect.
You don't need it, but you do need it if you are setting up something that requires a database. There are other databases that can be used, but mysql is the most common. _________________ New image comming soon...
