I've got the same router and can't get the server to work outside of my lan.
I've got DMZ turned on to the server with no luck. If I drop the router and
go straight to the cable modem it can be accessed from outside on the net,
but put the router back in and no luck. I've got the right IP addresses set,
and port 80 isn't blocked from my provider since I can access it without the
router, and I've tried different ports. I've opened up port 80, and allowed
fserve to pass everything to the server, but still no luck. Gotta be something
with this dlink DI-604. Anyone else been successful???

Have you mixed up Port Forwarding and Port Triggering ?

Try using this setup guide :

http://www.portforward.com/dlink/di-604-portforwarding.htm

Note that in the details on PortForward it states that once you have setup the port fowarding rules, you *must* also setup rules for the routers firewall to allow traffic on the ports you have forwarded. Odd way of doing things, but there you go.

Firewall setup instructions here :

http://www.firewalling.com/dlink/di-604-firewall.htm

If you still have problems, please supply a few more details :

Are you using DHCP on your LAN?
What is the IP of the machine running your server ?
What exactly have you entered in the port forwarding setup details as shown in the diagrams on PortForward.com site ?
