had this problem before i dont get the option to create a new database in phpmyadmin or in mysql,i had this problem before and just reinstalled sql but now it wont work..any suggestions guys why it keeps doing this..ive used the test database before but i need more databases..

In phpMyAdmin, check the privileges of the user you entered as.
The "root" user, by default, has all global privileges.
Any other user may not have everything checkmarked. |
