The traps ?
Abyss contains no spyware. Spybot doesn't find anything. HijackThis doesn't find anything. Adaware doesn't find anything. Norton doesn't find anything. Firewall shows no outgoing connection attempts by Abyss that aren't initiated by a request from outside. So in short, what you heard is bull$hit. |

People seem to see evil everywhere.
IMHO, It is "stupid" to suspect a 145KB package to contain spyware while "trusting" products which come in 100MB installers!
In 100 MB, anyone can insert a 200KB spyware, but in a 110 KB exectuable (Abyss's .exe is 110KB), the task is simply not possible :D _________________ Support Team

And I'll add PestPatrol Corporate finds nothing either although it does find Alexa and a MS Media Player spyware exploit after a fresh install of Windows XP Pro!
This software is amazing, I keep looking around for alternatives as I am desperate, infact really desperate to get virtual hosts online on my server for testing purposes and i just can't find a product which has such a small footprint and uses so few resources and that i can install without any set up IN LESS THAN A MINUTE and know it will work.
Guess I'll have to ne patient.
