The console. I upgraded to the newset version, and my password saved in windows was erased and I forgot it... I deleated the lines that said password and username in the config file assuming it would prompt me again but it didn't. I isn't a huge problem right now, I don't need to acess it but it would be nice to be able to get back in. |

Did you delete the lines login and password completely ? If you did and saved the file, next time you start up Abyss and go to the console it should prompt you for a new user / password. Changes don't take effect until you restart Abyss.
If that definitely doesn't work, rename or move the existing conf file, then run Abyss again. When it prompts you for the new user/password, choose the one you want then shutdown Abyss, open the new conf file in notepad, copy the lines login blah and password blahblah from the new file into the old conf file. Make sure there isn't another line starting login or password in the old conf file! Now copy the old conf file back and next time you start the user/password will be whatever you just chose.
Don't forget usernames/passwords are case sensitive! |
