I have Anti Hacking turned on, with Number of bad requests set to 5 and the monitor period set to 10 seconds yet today, again, I had a visitor hit me with 12 bad requests (resulting in 404's) in the space of 2 seconds yet the IP was not banned - Am I missunderstanding something or what?

404's are half a bad request, so 2 404's is 1 bad request. Maybe set the limit a little lower? Block after 3 bad requests in 60 seconds? That would probably be better. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Many thanks. Did not know that 404 is half a bad! I'll try your suggestion. Want to get it working before cyveillance comes crawing again, though why they should I can't imagine. But then there was no obvious reason why they shoud be interested the first time they burgled my site :-(
