I guess this could fit under "requested features" but I didn't see this posted anywhere...
Does (or will) Abyss support WebDav?
Although I can setup a webfolder within windows and trasfer my files that way (via my local network)...it'd be great to gain access to the web site via webdav from the outside.

This feature is not currently supported by Abyss (we won't hide it if it were implemented). It is on our to-do list but we cannot give any ETA.
By the way, do you know about a PHP script (or Perl, Python, or whatever) than can add WebDAV features?

The earlier message dated August 2003 says it's on the 'to-do list'. Is it still even planned? Is there any date? Do you have a beta I can test?
I really need this functionality and I'd hate to buy & implement something else only have WebDAV available in the Abyss server a few months later.
Any info would be appreciated. |

Many things have changed since 2003: WebDAV is still on our to-do list but its priority is lower than some other features. We cannot provide you with an accurate ETA of WebDAV but for many technical reasons, it won't be available in the current 2.x versions. Its integration will be postponed for the next major version.
