|
|
Currently, I can access my page through my local hostname, but I cannot get my IP to work as a server. (IE have someone type it in and get it to load index.html).
I have allowed IP range 0.0.0.0-255.255.255.255
And have also changed the setting too Deny/Allow
Any suggestions?
PS. I am behind a modem to router to computer connection, if that helps. _________________ Broccoli |

I use this site to find my ip address http://www.dyndns.com/ also u can sign up for free domains like .gotdns.com
Also check your network connections for the ip address on your system and allow the ports on system via any router that you have ie ports 80 for the server port 25 for mail server.
I hope this helps

yea check the port forwarding on your router.
here's how: portforward.com
also, check to make sure that all firewalls on the computer allow the server or ports, including windows firewall. _________________
