Well just when I thought things were okay, another snag occurs. :(
See, my IP is always changing, so I got software from DYNDNS to help with this problem. I was told that for my clients who log onto my website, that I could either keep updating them each time the IP changes, or I could use the DYNDNS website and let it get done automatically. I chose to let the dyndns website update it each time the IP changes.
I believe my address through dyndns is: http://midwestweather.homeftp.net I tried logging onto that site but got a error 404 page cannot be found.
Any thoughts? Suggestions? :? _________________ Signed,

It appears it cant connect to the server, ot atleast that's the error I'm getting.
Check that your IP is correct with the DynDNS Service. _________________ Any information contained herein is provided in "as is" condition without any guarantee for its accuracy, contains no warrantees - express or implied - and confers no rights.

That's what the software does, it corrects the IP on the dyndns website. My IP is current with that though. :!: _________________ Signed,

Perhaps you should try using another Ip updater. You can find hundreds of them all around the Net. Ask the support team for a list of conpatible ones.... _________________ Simple...fast...free..... |

eaglefox, are you on a LAN, is it using the correctIP not the address of a network adapted for example, assuming of course that you're connecting through thr net via the current machine.. _________________ Any information contained herein is provided in "as is" condition without any guarantee for its accuracy, contains no warrantees - express or implied - and confers no rights.

Yes I do use LAN through cable hookup. Yes it uses current IP and not the network. :? _________________ Signed,
