On Damn Small Linux the Abyss server says it's running, but it can only be accessed by 127.0.0.1:1024 not the default port 80.

I have tried configuring the router to port 1024 and still no luck.

What can I do?

You can only execute it on ports under 1024 under root user.

Most routers today supports 'virtual server', which means you can run the web server on whatever port you'd like inside your network and still be able to use port 80 from outside your network.

And as Abyssunderground said, you must execute the server from the root account. Abyss will however change account right after it's allowed to use port 80 to make sure the root-account wont be used all the time.
