Alright not sure if this is the right place to put this but anyway.. here are some free forum software you can use for your website.

1. phpbb - http://www.phpbb.com

2. mybboard - http://www.mybboard.com Screenshot: http://www.jibba-jabba.net/mybboard.png

3. punbb - http://www.punbb.org Screenshot: http://www.jibba-jabba.net/punbb.png

4. usebb - http://www.usebb.net Screenshot: http://www.jibba-jabba.net/usebb.png

5. minibb - http://www.minibb.net Screenshot: http://www.jibba-jabba.net/minibb.png

6. mercuryboard - http://www.mercuryboard.com

My favourite software is mybboard but i've just started playing about with usebb and i quite like that

So If you know of anymore just add them :)

Just noticed that the usebb forum software uses dns blacklists to ban certain ips so thats quite a good feature to have if you have problems with spambots and people using proxies.
more info can be found here http://www.usebb.net/community/topic-1082.html

jibbajabba, assuming that you have each and everyone of those forums installed, you might right a review for each and make it a new section on your website?

I would certainly link to it.

http://www.forummatrix.org is "the right place to compare the features of all those forum tools (aka. bulletin board systems) you heard of."

phirez, has Invision recently made changes to its forum software licensing? I thought their board software was not free. Could you point me to references to this (no need to point to invisionfree.com)? Thanks.
