running 2.3.2 and my ssi doesn't work
I inserted
<!-- #include virtual="somefile.html" -->
and placed somefile.html in the htdocs directory.
If the latests Abyss supports ssi, I can't understand why this shouldn't work. |

Thanks; it was actually but I tried renaming the index.html to index.shtml and this worked.
However I read somewhere (Web design in a nutshell / O'Reilly Publishing.) it was not necessary to name it shtml; so I hadn't). Can it be Abyss that has a special setting there?
Anyway it's solved and I am once again a happy man.

The sites advocates Abyss WS.

Thulemanden,
SSI is not processed by default in .html pages. Change the name of your page to .shtml or add html to the list of SSI file name extensions. _________________ Support Team
