Just surfing through the forums, and I hear a lot of talk about an Abyss Server. Im just wondering whats the difference between that and Microsofts IIS, as thats what Im running at the moment.
Am I right in assuming Abyss is for Linux based systems?
and what programming languages does it support?
Thanks in advance for any replies... _________________ Dont say I didnt warn you.

First off Abyss runs on Windows, MacOS X, FreeBSD, and Linux. It has support for PHP, Perl, ASP (free trial from third party company, then needs to be brought), ASP.NET (under Windows with .NET support). _________________ Olly |

Abyss also has an easy to use GUI and a very good support team and forum. _________________ Andy (AbyssUnderground) (previously The Inquisitor)

Hmm... the description from http://www.aprelium.com/abyssws/ seems lacking. Might I suggest some changes - something to the effect of:
"Compact, secure, easy to use and feature-rich"
(from "Compact, easy to use and feature-rich")
and an addendum like:
"It has virtually no known security vulnerabilities."
Hmm... I realize that this may sound like an invitation to hack but at least it could help inform you of possible holes in Abyss. This is just an idea anyway. _________________
