| Hello, I am running abyss web server on Mandriva 2006, I got the server up, but the problem is I can only access my web page through the local host. The ports have been opened both on my firewall and router, so I am unsure what is causing it not to go through. If you have any suggestions or know how to resolve my issue, I thank you. |

Being on a Linux based OS makes no difference with Windows:
* if you have a firewall, configure it to allow access to the port Abyss Web Server is using
* If you are behing a router, configure its portforwarding.

| I have done both those things like I said in my first post. It worked perfectly fine when I had it on windows, so its not my router. |

We meant that the checklist is the same whether you're using Windows or any operating system.
Does your operating system have a firewall? If so, have you configured it to allow incoming access to the port Abyss Web Server is using?
