Is there a way to change my deault port from 80 to for example 8080? Because My ISP(COX) blocks port 80, and I don't want to have to type 24.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080 because that's really annoying. I am using a Linksys WRT54Gx with port 8080 fowarded with Windows XP SP2. And I want to use a Dynamic DNS service from dyndns.com and they don't let you type in the port number to foward they foward them all but i still have to type my-server.dyndns.org:8080

Is there a way to fix that?

Thanks!!

Yes!

Open the console and click Configure, on the host you would like
to make changes to, once you've done that, go to General, easy.

Find more information by reading the Documentation.

I dont think TRUSTpunk understood what you said. He has only changed the port in Abyss Web Server, you will still have to put :8080 at the end of your URL. You will have to use a port 80 redirect from no-ip or dyndns to do this for you.

That is correct :-)

I thought you meant changing the Port on Abyss, im sorry to say but
80 is the default port, and this cannot be changed, other than port 80
, you will need to append at the end of the URL. Here's something!

you.webhop.org -> http://You.ath.cx:port

If you would like some help on this, add me to your MSN, and I will
be more than happy to help you with this issue. It's better to use a
method like mine if you can't use the default port 80.

Thanks A Million!!!!!

I used the webhop from dyndns since I already had an account with them.

And They don't have ads unlike no-ip!

TRUSTpunk: Thanks again for your Help! I will IM you if I have anymore questions.
