ok got a few for ya what all do i need to get a forum to work on the server Abyss Web Server X2 i have php installed and kinda working i just dont know how to get the forum and login to work can ya give me some help thanks DragonMaster

Can you tell use the name of the forum software/script you are using. This will help us advice you.

( forum phpBB2 ( and the ph0p program is Copyright © 1997-2005 The PHP Group CGI / FastCGI the server version is Abyss Web Server X2 i hope thats what ya need

OK. Do you have the script installed? You have to go through a setup page to complete the install of the script.

Search the forum for MySQL and install it. Then you will be able to install the forum.

Visit www.trustabyss.com for a tutorial on setting it up.

oh and where do i install it at in the smae folder as the server or ??? i hate to be a pain but im tryingto fix this for a moth :S

ok i could not find mysql :S but this is what the forum install says Thank you for choosing phpBB 2. In order to complete this install please fill out the details requested below. Please note that the database you install into should already exist. If you are installing to a database that uses ODBC, e.g. MS Access you should first create a DSN for it before proceeding

Basic Configuration
Default board language: English
Database Type: MySQL 3.xMySQL 4.xPostgreSQL 7.xMS SQL Server 7/2000MS Access [ ODBC ]MS SQL Server [ ODBC ]
Choose your installation method: InstallUpgrade
Database Configuration
