Im trying to run abyss webserver on a netgear router on port 1024. my computer's LAN ip is *.2 i have port forwarding set up the way i think it should, can anyone walk me through how to set it up with a netgear router? |

I have a Netgear router. Do you have a MSN, or AIM screenname? |

what netgear router is it, because i have had the same problem as you and i have some software that makes the dg843g v2, support loopback! if you want it post a msg, and ill put a link to download it from my site _________________ My online Portfolio |

I seem to have port forwarding and my firewall set up correctly, but it wont work, my msn is wits@microsonic.org |

Port 1024 is a port generally used by/for Windows. It's probably filtered by many ISPs. If you believe you have your port forwarding set up correctly and it's still not working, you should use a higher numbered port instead.
