I have purchased a domain(mattpalys.com) at dynonames.com. I want to be able to host it on my abyss server and still keep mattpalys.com. How do I go about doing that? Also when people go to mattpalys.com will it come up with my site while it is being hosted on my abyss server?
Please Help,
Matt Palys

Just point the domain to your IP address, or add an A record. And yes it will come up with your site hosted on Abyss. _________________

It asks for a nameserver. It must be like a domain (eg. 00freehost.com). When I put in my IP address it said it was an invalid TLD. How do I get my site on this server using that? Also what is an A RECORD? Thanks for your help and please reply.

Well, you got to have a name server (DNS) to use "a records". I'm not sure, but I think there are some free nameservers. Google is your friend, use it. |
