I have configured php to work properly with IIS, and for a few times Abyss served out some php files as well.
Now, Abyss seems that it cannot process php files correctly. There is no error returned, just an infinite "loading" in the browser.
The php files that I'm running are very simple phpinfo(); calls or "hello world" so it is purely testing webserver/php (i.e. no db). I'm running W2k3 small business server. FWIW, IIS runs like a champ using php.
I've tried to stop IIS completely, run Abyss on port 80, etc. nothing seems to work. my php.ini file looks ok, I've toggled the doc_root setting between IIS and Abyss. Not sure exactly if the doc_root setting is relevant at all since IIS runs either way.
Any ideas?
Regards,

I have installed it on another machine and it seems to work fine. Granted, this machine is not running IIS.
I do not believe it is a php.ini issue since IIRC there is only one difference between them (doc_root) and IIS runs fine even when the php.ini is configured for abyss. |
