The question is related to Abyss Web Server X2.
We guess that you have configured your host to have its host name set to
site.com . To have it also answer requests made for www.site.com, you
should:
* Open the console
* Press "Configure" for the host http://site.com
* Select "General"
* Press "Add" in "Host Names" table
* Enter a www.site.com in "Host Name" field and press OK
* Press OK
* Press Restart
Actually, a host can be associated with many domain names. The server uses
the "Host Names" table to know which host will be used to answer a given
request based on the domain name that is typed in the URL. The host name
accepts also wild cards: for example, you can add there as host name
*.site.com, which means that the host will answer any request that targets a
domain name that ends with .site.com (www.site.com , blog.site.com,
whatever.site.com, etc... provided of course that the domain names are
correctly registered and associated with your IP address).
