|
|
i have set up my server with php and mysql and everything is working fine. one thing i cannot figure out though, is how to define how much space a user has on the server. for example
with my paid host i have 1.5gig of space and 100mb of database space.
can someone offer some help and advice on how to set this up for the users on my server
thanks |

Its not possible unless you have a Linux or WinNT based operating system. (ie WinNT, Win2000, WinXP, ect...) |

Sorry to take forever to reply but in case you still need to know, windows will do it itself but only if you have xp pro (or any other descent NT-based os) and only if your scripts or ftp server(depening on how users get thier files up there) authienticates your users against windows. |

A great program for I have been using for years is Serv-U FTP...it is secure, easy to use, and you can set all kinds of limits....hope that helps! _________________ Zaphod
