No matter which page I go to on my website the main domain name "www.mydomainname.com" is all that shows in the address bar..
I need it to show "www.mydomainname.com/forum" ect....
Any ideas what could be causing this....

Are you using a free redirect service to point the domain name to your site or proper DNS from your host/Zoneedit? |

If it forwards then most likely its hidden. There should be an option to remove the 'hidden' part somewhere, I think it might be in cPanel too. _________________ int main() {

It gives me the options "masked URL forwarding" and "redirect URL forwarding" I have it set to "masked URL Forwarding" and if I set it to "redirect URL forwarding" it will send my domain name to my website but it shows my IP in the address bar.... I called my domain host up and well of course the first thing they say is it must be the way I have my server setup... |

I think they set it up right , it just didn't go through , DNS can take a while to
go through their system in order for your website to show up properly. LateR! |

Go there and try their service out (for free)....and if you like it, they also do domain transfers, etc. I haven't had a problem with them, and I've been using it for years now... :) |

Hate to go offtopic but...
GagnierA: Please dont post refferal links...
And for on-topic
Cloak might be enabled, this makes it so whatever page you goto is "www.thisdomain.com" . Go through the options and see if you see that. :) _________________

Who cares if I post a referral link? If it's something that people can use, there's no harm in it....it's not like they have to pay to click on it, and it's not like I get money....it's a free service, I'm just looking for the recogition for any people that might've found out about no-ip through my efforts of mentioning it.
It's not a big deal, and I don't believe that there are any rules against it. |
